Siri Hidden Feature On New iPhone 5

The iPhone cracks itself if siri perceives it as stolen. Before you go why siri why, self destruction is activated only if you have enabled the iphone unlock error security feature on the concept iPhone 5.
After 3 strikes, Siri radio quickly does an iPhone data transfer to your iTunes; and goes onto decimate all your information on the phone. You are notified on iTunes, where the iPhone data recovery is now available only to you, as it should be.
If you cant have the iphone, NO one can!
The question is not whether iPhone — Will it blend? but iPhone — Will it destruct?, if stolen. Go Siri!
The Apple II leads a new revolution

Where most people see a museum piece, Apple sees a new revenue stream. The Apple II is back, in all its underpowered splendor.
Meet “the new Apple II.” (According to sources, it was almost called the “Apple II 2.”)
As Apple’s press release explains: “The Apple II gave birth to the computer industry. Now it’s pregnant again — this time with unlimited possibilities.”
The new Apple II targets two different demographic groups: those nostalgic for simpler times, and those who still don’t get what memory is.
Remaining true to its original concept, the new Apple II isn’t exactly a speed demon. Hypothetically, its 1MHz processor would take about an hour to download an average web page. But that assumes you could actually connect the new Apple II to the Internet — which you can’t.
In fact, the new Apple II is unabashedly unconnected. With no Wi-Fi, Ethernet and USB ports, there will be nothing to distract you from enjoying the best of Apple II’s two dozen apps, which include a recipe manager and an electronic checkbook.
But this isn’t your father’s Apple II. Despite the retro theme, Apple has added one very handy port that allows the user to connect a turntable or cassette deck. You can’t store music in the computer, but you can use the Apple II box to store up to 150 vinyl albums or 300 cassettes.
No aluminum was harmed in the making of this computer. The new Apple II is big on beige, with industrial-strength plastics that will dominate landfills for centuries to come.
Apple is leaving nothing to chance with the new Apple II, working with partners to seduce customers with a rich ecosystem. Intel is developing an even slower chip to power a newer new-generation Apple II. Adobe, eager to make peace with Apple, will unveil an all-text version of Photoshop.
The new Apple II personal computer will be available on May 14th, starting at $4,995. For only $49, you can get a 2-year AppleCare plan — pre-dated to expire in 1981.

Mango flavoured iPhone 5

An ice cream manufacturer in China has devised a mango flavoured iPhone shaped treat.
“This “mango-flavored” ice cream treat boasts a “Western-style flavor” and is shaped like Apple’s iconic logo. It kind of looks like a fried egg,” writes Kotaku.com.
Kotaku suggests that Apple won’t be able to dispute the use of the trademark because it didn’t register it across a variety of industries.

Tim Cook to kick off 10th D: All Things Digital conference

Walter Mossberg and Kara Swisher interview Steve Jobs and Bill Gates at 'D5: All Things Digital' conference in Carlsbad, California, in 2007.
Apple Chief Executive Tim Cook will be the opening speaker for this year’s D10 conference, marking 10 years of “D: All Things Digital.”
Cook will speak at the opening night of the conference when it kicks off on May 29 at the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., Kara Swisher announced on Tuesday. It will be Cook’s first appearance at the D conference, and his first time appearing onstage at an event not run by Apple or investors since he became CEO last August.
“We are looking forward to hearing Cook’s perspective on where the industry and Apple is going, and perhaps to get a glimpse into what makes its new leader — who is also a longtime Apple vet — tick,” Swisher wrote.

Apple goes back to the future

One of the highlights of yesterday’s iPad keynote was a brief glimpse of a new, more colourful Apple logo. But what does it mean?
The multi-coloured logo spotted at the iPad launch looks like a modernised version of the original rainbow logo Apple sported in the 1970s and 1980s and may yet signal a new direction for the Cupertino, California company.
After late CEO Steve Jobs returned to Apple in 1995, the company progressively moved the logo to a more neutral white or grey tone. Now that the Jobs era is over, could this new more colourful logo show that Apple’s trying to make a clean break with its past?
Computer Arts sister technology website Gizmodo UK certainly hopes so.

New Apple TV with 1080p

The new Apple TV set-top box supports 1080p high-definition output and a simplified user interface, all available for the same $99 price when it goes on sale next week.
Apple VP Eddy Cue gave a demonstration of the new Apple TV on Wednesday, showing off big billboard images to present movies. The updated set-top box also has easier access to Photo Stream.
The refreshed version incorporates a user interface that looks more like the Home page of other iOS products, with app-like buttons for Movies, TV Shows, Music, Computers, Settings, and support for existing features such as Netflix, MLB, NBA and NHL.
“People are going to love streaming movies and TV shows in 1080p with the new Apple TV, and photos look beautiful displayed at the maximum resolution of your TV,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “Apple TV is easier than ever to use with its new icon-based interface and the ability to access your purchased movies, TV shows and music right from iCloud.”
Owners of the second-generation Apple TV will be able to access the new user interface with a free software update scheduled to become available today. 1080p video playback will remain exclusive to the new Apple TV.
1080p programming available for the Apple TV will include iTunes movies and TV shows, Netflix, Vimeo, photos and more. And with an updated iTunes in the Cloud, customers will be able to play movies and TV shows bought on the iTunes Store instantly on their Apple TV.

Apple’s March 7th invitation

Apple today sent out invites to journalists for their annual iPad event. This year, the event will take place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco on March 7th at 10:00 AM Pacific Time. Accompanying the invitations, Apple included the traditional image, which reads “We have something you really have to see. And touch.”
While there has been a great deal of speculation regarding this device in the past few months, there are a few things that have remained the same in most of them. Hit the break to see some detailed information on what Apple’s next-generation tablet may include.
