At Dover it will stay over before travelling up to Deal, Sholden, , Cliffsend, St Lawrence, Ramsgate, St Peters, Cliftonville, Margate – where it will call in at the Turner Contemporary – Westgate-on-Sea, Birchington and .

It will then move towards Canterbury, taking in Sturry, Canterbury, Thanington, Faversham, Challock, Harrietsham and Maidstone.

There it will stay overnight before making the final part of its journey through the county on July 20.

Taking in Gillingham, , Rochester, , Gravesend, Borough Green, Seal, , Riverhead and then moving into Surrey at Godstone.

Organisers say the Olympic Flame will come within 10 miles of 95 per cent of people in the UK.
