Apple sets WWDC 2012 for June 11-15

Apple developers, get out your calendars and pencil in June 11 to 15.

Those are the dates that Apple has just announced for the edition of its Worldwide Developers Conference, which will take place in San Francisco.

The focus, of course, will be on Apple's and operating systems.

“We have a great planned this year and can't wait to share the latest news about iOS and Mountain with developers,” said , Apple's senior vice president of worldwide marketing, in a statement. “The platform has created an entirely new industry with fantastic opportunities for developers across the and around the world.”

The will feature more than 100 technical sessions presented by Apple engineers.
