A total of 8,000 torchbearers will take the torch on its 70-day journey which begins in Land's End on 19 May and will be in Sevenoaks on 20 of July.

London 2012 organisers have not yet released details of the final two days in which the torch visits Westminster before travelling from Hampton Court to the Olympic Park to light the cauldron at the opening ceremony on .

Only streets along which the torch will be carried by a person are listed in these documents. At other times the torch is said to be “in convoy”, meaning it is being transported in a vehicle, and these roads are not being made public by organisers.

I have drawn a map of the route through Sevenoaks before and after. Click here.

The olympic flame is coming‘It's our moment to shine' as proudly hosts the Olympic Torch Relay on the 20 of July.

You are invited to ‘line the streets' to celebrate the arrival of the flame, cheer the inspirational torchbearers and be part of this historical moment as the travels through Seal, Sevenoaks, Riverhead and Bessels Green.

Viewing the Torch Relay

The best views of the Relay will be from the left–hand side of the route, as the other side may still be open for traffic. If you are planning to bring a large group to the please ring on 01732 227000. We can advise you on the best viewing areas and help you avoid parts of the route with narrow pavements.

Ten minutes before the Torch arrives, the Torch Relay Convoy will pass through handing out commemorative keepsakes to spectators on the left hand side of the route. After this the Torchbearer and the flame won't be far behind so get ready to cheer on the inspirational Torchbearer and celebrate the Torch's arrival.
