A postcard of a ride known as the Canadian Topsy Turvy Railway which opened at the Crystal Palace in August 1902 and was removed in 1909.

There is a small picture of the Crystal Palace building in the bottom right of the postcard, with ‘A Souvenir of the Crystal Palace’ printed below it.

The postcard has a London postmark dated 22 July 1904 and was sent to Miss A Howling, 4 Westhill Park, Ryde, Isle of Wight.

“Looping the Loop” at the Crystal Palace near London. Isn’t it thrilling? Your P.C. (postcard) nice but I prefer the “Oilette” series of views.
