This incredible little film features Alan Kitching, described as “one of the world's foremost practitioners of letterpress typographic design and printmaking”, designing for the likes of Dazed & Confused, Saatchi & Saatchi, Tate Modern and Clarks from his workshop in Kennington, South London. This film by Jake&Josh was shot as part of Wallpaper‘s custom covers series and introduces us to Alan's poster making process using wood and metal letterforms to create unique one off works. However, it's his own personal story that makes this for me as he describes his relationship with his late wife and design partner Celia, an honest and touching film that's definitely worth a watch.
