Condom moment

Terrence Higgins Trust has launched a short film clip to remind the general public in the of the continuing importance of using condoms during sex.

Condom Moment, was created on a pro bono basis by film company and director Tom Geens to mark the charity's 30th anniversary.

There are currently 100,000 people with HIV in the UK, one in four of whom remain undiagnosed. In 2011, there were almost 427,000 new cases of other sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in alone. people aged 15-24 remain one of the groups most at risk of STIs in the UK.

Genevieve Edwards, Director of Improvement at , said: “Much of our work targets those communities most at risk of in the UK, such as Africans and gay men. However, the safer sex message is just as relevant for anyone who is sexually active. Whether it's unplanned pregnancy, an unpleasant infection, or a serious health condition like HIV, the trusty condom remains the UK's greatest weapon against sexual ill health. As this film shows, it's also the best way to maintain peace of mind.
