BBC TWO Northern Ireland - Final analogue closedown

The analogue TV signal in Northern Ireland has been switched off, completing the UK's transition to digital broadcasting.

The gold medallist Dame turned off the last of the old style signals just before midnight, ending a TV era lasting over 70 years.

The final for BBC Two Northern Ireland analogue at 00:23, 10th 2012. The announcer is Olver. This was how it appeared on satellite. Those watching on analogue had their signal cut off after the old 1980's vintage BBC 2 swiped away to the left for the final time, also bringing an end to Ceefax on 2.
