A message to our Russian LGBT brothers and sisters

The London Gay Men's Chorus is appalled and shocked by the news that our LGBT brothers and sisters in Russia are facing escalating persecution and violence.

We want to tell you: It gets better.

Many of our members remember a time in the UK when homosexuality was illegal. Many more remember Section 28, repressive legislation and institutionalised homophobia.

Our members are thinking of you. We're singing for your rights. We're singing for equality around the world.
