The park could be a huge boost for tourism in Kent but nobody knows when it could finally open its doors

The people of reacted with excitement when it was announced Kent's answer to Disneyland could be opening its doors in .

Paramount was first announced in 2012, and in 2017 the behind the project earmarked a former landfill site on the Peninsula between and Dartford, for the huge attraction.

It was hoped the development could bring 50,000 tourists to Kent every day.

But sadly the development of this huge park has not been smooth sailing, with a number of ups and downs leaving confused as to when exactly Paramount could open its doors.

Its opening date has been pushed back multiple times in the last six years.
