Who wants to see William Adama kill some frakkin’ toasters this week? Entertainment Weekly is reporting that the Battlestar Galactica prequel series, Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome, will make its world premiere online this Friday on Machnima. The show follows a young William Adama (Luke Pasqualino, above) as a Viper pilot on the battlestar Galactica during the first Cylon war. Edward James Olmos played the elder version of the character on the recent TV show.
SyFy originally put the show into production as a pilot but it wasn’t picked up. It now exists as a two hour movie which’ll be released online in 7-12 minute segments via Machinma Prime over the next month, followed by a full airing on SyFy in 2013 and an unrated release on Blu-ray after that.
After the jump, check out the trailer for the show (which is pretty much the same as the one we posted in March, only an official release with finished effects) and get a bit more info about it.
