London 2012

What follows in an email from Southeastern:

Southeastern stations and will be significantly affected by the London 2012 and Paralympic Games.

Our services will be much busier and you should expect to queue for train services at many of the busier stations we serve e.g. and St Pancras International.  A queuing system will be in operation at all London termini from 28 July.

On the evening of the 30 July you won?t be able to access platforms 1-6 at London Bridge station from 6pm ? 10pm. Please use London Charing Cross, London Cannon Street or London Waterloo East instead.

A one-way system and a queuing system will be in operation at London Bridge throughout the , as well as restricted entry and exit points to prevent platform overcrowding. Passengers are advised to avoid using wherever possible.

Everyone planning to commute into London or travel during Games time is advised to visit GetAheadoftheGames.com now to plan ahead and make alternative travel arrangements.

Southeastern train times and services change from 27 & 28 July for the Games:  

Thursday 26 July:  normal service
Friday 27 July:  Olympic high speed timetable starts (normal metro & mainline timetable)
Saturday 28 July –  12 :  Olympic timetable
Monday 13 August – 28 August:  normal service
Wednesday 29 August – Sunday 9 September:  Olympic timetable

You can collect a Southeastern 2012 Games pocket timetable from any staffed station or download them from southeasternrailway.co.uk/olympics.

Dont chance it over the first few days of the Games, please plan ahead now and allow extra time for your journey. For travel advice please visit:
